A developing Fashion Designer, Kareema Hill grew up in a creative environment, so it was not a surprise that she would find a love for fabrics and design. Her Great Grandmother Christine was a seamstress who creates clothing and drapes by hand for local fashion companies and churches. Her grandfather Jihad, an artistic carpenter, creates and contributes to stage play and pop-up shop activations. As you can see, a foundation was paved for the young Chicagoan that would allow her to express her personality, creativity and ever evolving mind through fashion and the design of quality garments.
While enrolled as a full time student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Kareema launched her first brand, House of Allure. Along with beginning her company, she also worked for a well-renowned brand Rich Girl Candy. The experience at RGC provided her a platform to learn and grow to understand the intricacies of the prestigious fashion industry.
House of Allure is a woman-owned Chicago based fashion company that values every woman with the promotion of body positivity and confidence at all stages of life by providing custom, beautiful garments.
